01

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Nerli handles information when you visit our website or use the Nerli local-sharing service.

Nerli is designed to connect nearby devices on the same network so they can exchange files, links, and messages directly between their browsers.

02

Your transfer content

Files, links, and messages you choose to send are transferred through a WebRTC connection between the participating browsers. Nerli does not intentionally upload, store, or inspect the contents of those transfers on its servers.

The person receiving a transfer can save, copy, or otherwise use what you send. Only share with devices and people you recognize and trust.

03

Connection and technical data

Establishing a peer connection requires limited technical information. This may include a temporary device label, connection identifiers, IP addresses, network candidates, browser and operating-system details, timestamps, and diagnostic events.

Our website and infrastructure providers may also receive standard web-request and security-log information. We use this information only to connect devices, protect the service, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.

04

Accounts, cookies, and tracking

Nerli does not require an account and does not sell personal information. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Strictly necessary browser storage may be used to remember temporary session or device preferences. If our analytics or cookie practices materially change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

05

Sharing and retention

We may share limited technical data with infrastructure providers that host or secure Nerli, when required by law, or when necessary to prevent abuse and protect users.

Transfer contents are not retained by Nerli. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.

06

Security

WebRTC protects data in transit using encrypted transport. No system is risk-free, and Nerli cannot control the security of your local network, browser, device, or the receiving device.

Keep your browser and operating system updated, verify the receiving device, and avoid sharing sensitive material on a network you do not trust.

07

Your choices and rights

You control which transfer to send or accept. You can close the page to end a session and clear site data through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. Send privacy questions or requests to info@nerli.network.

08

Children and policy changes

Nerli is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material updates will be identified by a new effective date on this page.

No clouds were bothered in the making of this transfer.
