Enhancement
Sharing stays organized
Busy sharing sessions now remain clear, dependable, and easy to follow.
- Send more files immediately without waiting for an earlier notification to finish.
- See several pending files and messages together instead of having new arrivals replace old ones.
- Reconnect automatically after a brief network interruption.
- Check the current connection status in both the header and footer.
- Use Nerli comfortably on phone, tablet, or desktop screens.
- Open Nerli from an ordinary local-network address with helpful browser fallbacks built in.
New feature
Text and link sharing
Quick notes and useful links no longer need to be wrapped inside a file.
- Send text or links from their own dedicated tab.
- Open received links directly or copy them with one click.
New feature
Full transfer control
Both people can see what is happening and stay in control from start to finish.
- Follow live progress with a percentage and transferred size.
- Pause an outgoing transfer and resume it later.
- Cancel a transfer from either the sending or receiving device.
- Download completed files automatically without an extra Save step.
Enhancement
Devices are easier to recognize
Familiar names and icons help you choose the right device before sending.
- See a useful default name such as “Chrome on Windows” or “Safari on iPhone.”
- Rename your own device and have Nerli remember it in that browser.
- Recognize phones, tablets, TVs, laptops, PCs, and computers by their matching icon and label.
New feature
Flexible file sending
Choose one file or a full batch, then send it in the way that feels easiest.
- Send several files together with one combined progress bar.
- Drag files into the send area or click to browse your device.
- Review file names and total size before choosing Accept or Decline.
Update
Project release
Nerli launches with the simplest possible path between nearby devices.
- Nearby devices appear automatically when they open Nerli on the same local network.
- Files and messages move directly between browsers and are never uploaded to Nerli’s server.
